Brady on Martinez

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady posted to his Facebook page today with his feelings and comments regarding the death of his long time QB coach and friend – Tom Martinez.

“I am deeply saddened by the passing of my coach, mentor and friend. Coach Martinez’s invaluable assistance and support will never be forgotten and will always have a lasting impact on my life. The time we spent together remain some of my fondest memories. His legacy of commitment, toughness and determination will live on forever.”

    What incredible shame. Not to be insensitive, but I wonder how Brady’s game will be effected. Also, maybe this will light even more of a fire in his eyes…

    Every good player has been affected by the positive influence of good coaching in order to be great.Tom was blessed to have someone like Tom who got the best out of him- 5 bowl appearances and 3 bowl wins-incredible.Martinez and Brady’s meeting was no accident.
